Option A
- Lawn aeration
- Thatch in two directions
- Mow
- If lawn is uneven, this is the time to top dress with a sandy soil mix to fill in and smooth out ruts and low spots
- Over seed with a northwest sun and shade lawn seed mix
- Fertilize with starter fertilizer
- Cover thin and bald spots with 1/8” peat moss
Option B
- Remove existing lawn
- Add sandy soil mix to smooth and grade
- Hydro-seed new lawn or install new sod
